How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes are done in about a day. Large or steep roofs, or roofs with a lot of damaged decking, can take longer. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.
Can you put new shingles over my old roof?
We replace roofs with a full tear-off so we can see and fix the decking underneath. Some cities also limit layers. Texarkana, Texas, for example, allows only one layer of shingles over an existing roof.
Will you tell me if I don't need a new roof?
Yes. If a repair will buy you good years, we'll say so and price the repair instead.
Will my insurance pay for a new roof?
It depends on your policy, your deductible, and what caused the damage. Many homeowner policies cover hail and wind damage. We document what we find and meet your adjuster at the house, but your insurance company makes the coverage decision.
